Blog Session 8 Your Blogging Experience

I’ve enjoyed the blogging experience, because I had the chance to learn how to write in this language. Also I’ve learned a lot of different new words that help me to improve my vocabulary.
I enjoy it because blogs are a platform very connected to our generation. So isn’t hard at all write in this system. It is important to integrate new platforms for learning. Maybe in the next English courses we are going to use facebook, who knows?
I think that the advantages of blogging are:
-Is more fast for write our opinions and let the world to read them. We can spread our opinions to a lot of people in just a second.
-Is more fast the access to different information about every subject proposed. This reason is connected with the previous one.
-The blogs allow us to express the way we are through the design we choose.
-In English is a challenge because we are forced to learn how to say some things that we are thinking. I have to ask a lot about the meaning of words, and how to express certain things. I usually had to search that, and it’s hard to forget something that you have to search in the past.
I think the disadvantages of blogging are:
- we can’t choose the subject of the blog task, and maybe we don’t have necessarily a opinion for the proposed subject, so is a little frustrating try to make a forced opinion about something. For example, now I’m counting words to reach the minimum of 300 words.
-A disadvantage of blogs in general (not in our case) is the anonymous allowed. A lot of people take advantage of that situation for hurt people, for example.
Finally, I want to thank the opportunity for learn. I’ve entry to this course for that reason and I think that goal was reached.

Blog 6 Talk review on creativity

Ken Robinson’s opinion has a subject that I’ve already analyzed before.
I agree with him. Per se schools are centers where the people go to learn not just different subjects, but also they learn how to behave in front authority, how to be quiet and just listen what the teachers are saying (except the subject that obligatory requires discussion, like Philosophy).
Moreover, in our country also the uniforms are the most evident way to kill creativity, forbidden us a simple and basic kind of expression. The uniforms are usually grey, black or dark blue: those colors are just the opposite of what we see in children’s clothes stores (pink, yellow, light blue, green, orange, etc). We are classifying equal when we are different! The clothes are a way for express that we are, or the way we feel.
Also we are obligated to listen subjects that clearly doesn’t are the interests of everybody. In the two last years of high school I think the people already has the power of chose about what they likes or dislikes, and we are obligated to cover advanced classes of math, chemistry, physics, literature, history, etc. So, we have to waste time listen themes that clearly we don’t want, just to be like the schools want us to be.
I liked a lot the way that sir Robinson talks, is very motivating the fact he doesn’t need to read what he is talking about. His principal arguments are very interesting. Especially the hierarchy of important subjects: the art at last is just sad; we never had the chance in schools of forms us integrally, understanding the brain as a multiple intelligence system that is not stimulated completely.

Blog 7 The best in your area

I think that the best in my field is Ana María Polo.

She is a Political scientist, doctor in law. Also is a Tv judge, and an philanthropist (she is a supporter of the fight against breast cancer)

I like her because is a strong woman, a tv judge, and a very entertainer character.

Is strong because in her show she gives details of her life: for example, she had to work when she was in College, a very hard work. Also, she had cancer in the past and she beat it.

I like her for be a tv judge, because in USA the tv judgments are valid. Not like here, where in tv programs “La Jueza” and “Veredicto”, their verdicts are only a recommendation, not an obligatory law for the parts involved.

I like her for be a very entertainer character because is hilarious when she take it against one of the parts of the judgement that clearly is wrong. Because is a tv judge, she has not the obligation of calm down when she dislike a situation.

She is the best TV judge, in comparison to the other tv judges that barely reach her heels. She has a good and compassionate heart, but is very strong in the time to judge the persons for their actions.
