My favorite piece of technology is my computer (or notebook)
I’m related with this technology since I was 6 years old, but I have my own notebook since 3 years.
I used the computer in many different ways: for university works, for read some books and news if I’m connected to the internet, and for play games (because we need some fun too). When I was little, I used the computer also for educative games.
I use it everyday, in every hour, especially when I have a work for the university, I could spend the night doing that
I like it because I could give it many uses: education, information, work, and fun
If the computer doesn’t exist, surely I would have a very complicated life: my works would be written by my own and tired hands, I would have to buy the newspaper everyday, so that would be a quite expensive.

I have a "trivia" comment about our faculty related to your favourite piece of technology.
In our faculty there were not computers until 1997. So you could understand how the life was in the faculty writing the works on old-fashioned writing machines.
I think that this is almost unacceptable.
